Meet The Team

Jim Driscoll
Co-Founder & Partner
Jim Driscoll founded Cohearity together with Jordan Stephens after a series of leadership roles at Intel Corporation. Early on at Intel, Jim held high-profile positions in corporate finance with a focus on strategic financial analysis and P&L management. Sensing the need for significant change at Intel, Jim soon founded the Center for Decision Leadership with the goal of dramatically improving the decision-making culture inside the company. With Jim at the helm, CDL drove faster, better decisions worth more than $50B and mentored more than 4,000 leaders in the art and science of making smarter choices. Leading several of Intel’s biggest decisions revealed a key truth: that even with access to the best decision science, it's not possible to consistently make timely, high-quality decisions in an environment of distrust, disunity, and confusion. That insight led Jim to combine the best of decision science with what's required to build more trusting and cohesive teams; work that helped him routinely rank in the top 1% out of several thousand of his fellow executives. Jim's expertise in decision-making and team health extends far beyond the technology industry: Jim is a two-time appointee to the Panel of Examiners for the Raiffa-Howard Award for Organizational Decision Quality and was responsible for assessing decision making at both Chevron and Lilly. Jim has served as both President and Vice President of the Society of Decision Professionals (SDP) including multiple terms as an elected member of the SDP's Board of Directors. He is a frequent guest speaker at conferences, universities, and leadership summits. Jim is a graduate of the University of Oregon's Charles H. Lundquist College of Business and he holds a Certificate in Strategic Decisions and Risk Management from Stanford University. Jim and his family live in Portland, Oregon.

Jordan Stephens
Co-Founder & Partner
Jordan is a Partner at Cohearity, which he co-founded with Jim Driscoll in 2025 after 20+ years at Intel. At Intel, Jordan helped Jim start the Center for Decision Leadership (CDL), and over 12+ years, he helped CDL drive $50B+ in value for the company. Jordan has deep experience with analysis on complex decisions, particularly those with high uncertainty, and led the decision analysis on several of Intel’s biggest. He also facilitated leadership teams in making challenging decisions in many different parts of the company. CDL also taught thousands of leaders the art and science of better decision-making, and Jordan led the design and delivery of in-person and self-paced learning courses on decision analysis. He has also developed software tools to support better analysis and decisions. Outside of CDL, Jordan held multiple finance roles and has a deep understanding of portfolio management and the financial implications of investment decisions, particularly in tech. Jordan brings a broad perspective, having lived in multiple countries, speaking a second language (Korean), and having worked for the CIA. He earned an MBA from London Business School and holds bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and in Korean from Brigham Young University. He also has extensive professional training, including a Certificate in Strategic Decision & Risk Management from Stanford. Jordan is active in (and was a board member of) the Society of Decision Professionals, the premier organization for decision-making experts across all industries. He also volunteers on the Workforce Council of the Alliance for Decision Education. Jordan and his family live in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
